I have been drawing a LOT of eyes lately, and these are the pair that I am most happy with, as I believe they manage to put across the emotion of sadness quite well. Hopefully. =P They certainly took a little while to do, too :D

Anyway, the eyes are those of Isabelle Allen, the child actress who played Cosette briefly in the recent film Les Misérables. Les Mis is a stunning film (which heavily surprised me, as it was a 'sung-through' musical) and an even better book, so go check them out if you haven't already!

Drawn with graphite 2B, 3B and a 2B mechanical pencil with boring old colouring pencils for the irises.
